All this sounds pretty dismal, but the fact is this place really doesn't have to be good as they are the only game in town. Entertainment is dismal as there is a small bar area that will have a small band playing and there is only one other 'club' next to the casino that has terrible acoustics. By the way, drinks go up in price as the evening goes on. If you are a regular to Las Vegas or any other 'real' casino, you will be disappointed with how this place is ran. Forget seeing a cocktail waitress on a regular basis and if you do, there is no such thing as a complimentary drink at this place.
Once you get inside the rip off continues with the hundreds of slot machines that suck the last dollar out of your wallet with their multiple play lines. This is the only casino I have ever traveled to that charges you to self park. The rip off starts with the $10 parking fee to park your own car in dimly lit, cramped parking garages. The Hard Rock Casino is the only gaming action in the Tampa area.
